Margaret “Maggie” Barchine, APR, is director, communications for the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association (NABCA), a trade association for control jurisdictions, those systems that take ownership of beverage alcohol at some point in the business cycle.

Her role oversees media relations, membership and the membership database, publications, electronic communication that includes the website, webinars and other functions. Her career history is diverse within the communications and marketing arena.

She graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Journalism and is accredited (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America, for which she also volunteers. She is active with other community organizations where she lives in Alexandria, VA.
